This work was inspired by my love of plants, gardening and being in nature. I hope viewers will enjoy the abstract composition and colors meant to evoke the joy and stunning bounty of a spring garden. I chose to use found silver sewing ribbon and shelf liner which I cut out on the basis of color and texture and enjoyed playing with these elements. I also glued jewelry and metallic ribbon and small objects to the canvas to guide the eye through the 'garden.'
