I hope viewers will feel the same clarity of abstract focus in the ‘landscape’ that is meant to represent a place in the spirit realm. I aspired to evoke a feeling of what meditation feels like, perceptually and in terms of letting go of complexity and reason. I wanted to create an involved, yet relaxed atmosphere in the piece. I chose to use both found objects and things that became filled with love over many years, such as the pink Sandalwood Ganesh that I bought in India 38 years in Puna. It still smells lovely.
