The reviewing and simultaneous of letying go. This feels like the Universe expanding within the self. This process includes accepting and judging at the same, a kind of conscious paradox. Yet, that is what prayer involves. I hope viewers will enjoy the spare composition and colors by themselves without analysis. One need not worry about the meaning. I chose to use round glass bowls, yarn and copper thread to evoke the repetitive ritualistic aspects of prayer. I also wanted these items to recall related objects used in prayer such as Tefillin, the small leather boxes containing scripture as well as the leather straps that one binds oneself with during at home prayer each morning.
