I was very moved, fascinated and deeply affected by all the amazings sites in the Holy Land. I hope viewers will enjoy the stark composition and layers of mother of pearl buttons, texture and the intentional abstract mystery of the depiction.

 I chose to use plastic snakes from a children’s store and buttons I found and other objects to depict the subject as a child might, with the same sense of wonder and lack of sophistication.
