I hope viewers can find pleasure in this repurposed dresser drawer in a purely visceral and visual way, regardless of the memories or feelings it triggers in them. I chose the medium of the drawer because it has depth and encloses ones emotions and makes the past feel safe. I always love boxes because it allow onesto arrange and transform each object one places in it. That, and to rearrange items and pile and stack and perch them next to and atop one another. Like memories, no?
