I hope viewers may share my sense of mystery and wonder pondering what exactly one is seeing and where the heck on earth it is. And for that matter, what it would look like if you were there on the ground! I chose to create the illusion of a satellite view obviously. I experimented and 'invented' a technique using multiple layers of thinned out, juicy paint that I then covered in Saran Wrap. I would let it dry and then peel off the plastic, see what I liked in the piece then I would add another layer of paint and Saran Wrap. Let it dry again and repeat the process 12 to 14 times ( I lost count) until the painting emerged the way it wanted to be seen. I want to do more imagined Satellite views! What places would you like to view from Space?
