The harmony

Hymns of the Meeting The First Melody of the Encounter This artwork is inspired by a real memory from Cairo in the 1990s. When I was a child, I often saw her standing beside the carnival games. She had dark skin, wore a headscarf decorated with colorful pom-poms, and stood under the hot sun without caring. Her rough voice always reached everyone, and her broken laughter stayed in the streets long after she was gone. I never knew her name, but my memory never forgot her. Years later, she returned as a painting.
