Our house was next to the graveyard and my bedroom windows looked out on it. Most of the time I felt very lucky to live by such a beautiful, halcyon setting. I hope viewers will sense that while the theme and images are a dark, they are not genuinely scary because the dream was more intriguing than terrifying per se. I used felt and other children’s craft materials to create a sense of youthful whimsy and innocence. The effect was intended to be ooky spooky rather than OMG. Do you think it works?
