I hope viewers will imagine whatever this piece evokes for them. I chose to work with panels of hardboard first, gluing them to the canvas while leaving space between them, then I continued on the piece as a whole, layering objects, colors and more layers of found objects, gel and color onto into it. Once it all dried, I went back and ripped away jagged sections to deny any symmetry or sense of wholeness and peace.
