Technique: canvas made of fabric with my artisan technique of tailoring MDG. Material used: re-used fabrics present in my atelier. Inspiration of my artwork: Reading a novel set in Morocco, I was inspired by the creation of the shapes, colors and suggestions experienced during the reading. The colors are warm and vibrant, the shapes typical and lived-in, old-fashioned. (Book by author Dinah Jefferies entitled A Train to Marrakesh).
