I hope viewers will enjoy the primitive, slapdash brushstrokes that were intended to capture the fleeting moments of beauty before darkness fell. The nature of the piece and its colors is meant to create a soothing sensation. I chose the work very simply with memory, then I kept going over the bands of color again and again until it looked and felt like the clouds as I experienced them.
