This painting grew from my search for simplicity—the idea that a few carefully placed gestures can express more than an abundance of detail. I wanted to create a composition where every mark has its own presence and purpose. The luminous cream surface offers a space to breathe, while the vertical and horizontal brushstrokes meet in a quiet exchange. Their intersection creates a delicate balance between movement and stillness, structure and freedom, inviting the eye to pause and wander at the same time.
