My parents met in 1953 in the NY Museum of Modern Art in front of THE GUERNICA. So I guess I have loved Picasso since even...before I was born. Words fail in attempting to describe the power of his work. PICASSO PLAYERS is a playful riff on one of the master's myriad styles. The blue, red and cream colors are straightforward and simple. The Faces appear in a row like clowns at a fair. It reminds me of goofy characters musing leisurely on what they'd like to do that day. Preferably nothing at all, one hopes.
