My best friend Celia started an international organization three years ago whose purpose is to replant native seeds in environments where they have all but gone extinct. To my delight and amazement PONTERRA is already a success in four different countries with a staff of hundreds. I am not clever enough to understand how Celia grew this company from nothing to reforesting thousands of acres. But what I do know is how thrilling it is to grow plants from seeds and watch as the seeds sprout. Buttercup yellow, Mauve, Lapis Lazuli, Burnt Sienna, Taupe, Cream and sage paint my excitement at my friends success, the healing of our planet and my own sense of wonder.
