Hello, I'm Canan Tutaklar.

I completed my undergraduate education and my master's degree in Fine Arts Painting. After working in oil painting for a long time, I now draw in digital environment. My ties to nature are very tight. Nature is incredibly powerful, simple and non-judgmental…Nature itself is the greatest work of art and inspiration. In fact, I know that man is also an element of this work of art. But when he gets rid of his prejudices, ambitions and conditioning that his own mind has forced him to do… This state of man seems very innocent and defenseless to me and it makes me feel naked. I also think that living in the human body is a very high experience. It gives me a sense of simplicity. No extra items are needed. Because the experience of being human on its own is a very simple and powerful feeling. Therefore, simplicity and nudity are in the foreground in my drawings. I am inspired by the mere existence of nature, the simplicity of nature, the sheer power of the human experience and the mysticism behind this wonderful creation.
