Hello, I'm Miri.

Miri is an Argentinian-born artist based in Israel​,​ married +2. Miri worked for Intel for 27 years as an engineer. In parallel​,​ she developed her painting skills by attending drawing classes and realistic painting workshops. In 2015​,​ she left Intel to concentrate on her painting career fully. Miri’s painting style is abstract and figurative. Miri works intuitively in her abstract paintings​,​ developing the painting direction through the creation process. At first​,​ the shapes seem random​,​ but they connect and make sense layer by layer. The outcome is expressive and captivating abstracts. Miri’s figurative compositions are imbued with romance and sensuality​,​ starting with a realistic drawing followed by abstract elements incorporation. Sometimes the abstract parts are minimal​,​ and sometimes they are more pronounced​,​ depending on the specific piece she is working on. Miri was featured in the Gold List top edition of the International Art Market Magazine​,​ and on Capsules​,​ a premium boutique publication. Art Market Magazine awarded Miri a certificate of excellence for her unique artistic style and high-technique achievement in the contemporary art world. She received the special mention award in the 2022 Art Vue Foundation’s yearly price competition. Miri’s artworks are displayed for sale in several Israeli galleries and on international online platforms. Miri hosted a solo exhibition in 2018​,​ and has participated in several group exhibitions in Israel​,​ New York in 2019​,​ Italy (digital exhibition)​,​ and Madrid.
