Hello, I'm Pierre-Yves BLASCO.

I am a French​/​Swiss national who has been living in Francistown, Botswana for the past 20 years. Since I can remember I have been interested in art. I started drawing at a young age but left my passion for art when I became an adult and had to start working. I was successful professionally in Switzerland and France. In 2002 I left Europe on a sailing trip with my family. On my catamaran, we sailed across the Atlantic and spent 4 yearsdiscovering the beautiful islands in the Caribbean and South America. We then moved in Botswana where my passionfor art was reborn because of the diversity of the african landscape and the amazing wildlife. I have tried many different mediums in the last 10 years but prefer to work with oil and acrylic. i spend most of my afternoons in my art studio perfecting my passion of painting african wildlife.
