Hello, I'm Sofía Gopar.

I am a Uruguayan artist working primarily with oil paint, charcoal, and pastel. My work is inspired by a search for moments of calm, contemplation, and connection with nature and the human figure. I am interested in capturing the beauty of everyday moments and creating images that invite viewers to slow down and observe with intention. Alongside my artistic practice, I work as a primary school teacher and study Occupational Therapy. These experiences enrich my artistic perspective and deepen my interest in emotions, well-being, and the relationship between people and their surroundings. Through my work, I seek to create pieces that invite viewers to pause, observe with intention, and reconnect with themselves, offering a moment of stillness amid the pace of everyday life.
