L'Île Rousse is in Corsica. A place where I left a piece of my heart. A magical place where the still-wild nature mixes with the scents of thyme and myrtle. I think of the plane trees, the café tables in the large square. Glasses of pastis. The streetlights illuminating the petanque players. The chorus of cicadas. A sense of beauty and harmony envelops me.
