I was experimenting with shapes and Lino carving tool stamps on my iPad Procreate and allowed my mind to wander into destinations I would love to visit in real life. Africa is one place I would want to explore, to see the beautiful Savanna landscape, desert areas and witness the dry season colour palette and the tree, bush and vegetation shapes within the area. I have been inspired by photographic and TV images of the Savanna and the colours and have used some of them in my drawing, creating an abstract vista within my artwork. Some of the colours I have used are : straw, clay, grass, teal green shades, cream, and grey tones.
