Blackboard Triangles

Blackboard Triangles is a work that was inspired by my finding a chalkboard. I'm a sidewalk. I couldn't resist trying to make this be about something since triangles are my favorite shape. I decided to paint on it with triangles. I didn't wanna use Geo or some kind of primer to cover up the black of the blackboard because I thought that was part of its charm. So I said about painting on the blackboard. Then I realized that blackboards don't really want to accept acrylic. So each attempt to paint on the blackboard resulted in a sort of translucent bleeding I don't know what to call it. Then I realized that the translucent bleeding non-aspect of the ability to actually make a painting was kind of cool. So I decided to just work with it and over the weeks and months I just simply kept painting triangles. I considered actually painting in chalk and sealing it, but once I got started with the acrylic, I was kind of having fun. I chose to stick to a limited pallet of colors: pastels that you might see in on a blackboard, such as yellow and pink and white. I liked it so I stuck with it--and there you go. So what do you think?
