Or as the case may be, as shadows lift and night dissolves and reveals another blessed day. I hope viewers might enjoy the colors, jagged tonal shifts and simple composition, whether or not they choose to see the twilight or dawn as magically precious as I do. I chose to work in thin layers of paint to create an evanescent murky landscape, attempting to create the illusion of time passing as the scene grows darker. Or lighter. Dawn and Dusk really do have a lot in common!
