I am drawn to the idea of not depicting a literal deskset, rather than how it feels to me. I hope viewers will enjoy the design and the plasticity and apparent quixotic arrangement and choice of items on a purely visceral level. I chose the medium of using open gift boxes, glass mosaic pieces, pens, shiny metallic paper and other items because I have always associated my desks with my ability to locate stuff. And I am only able to find items instinctively if they are colorful and contrast with each other.
