A contemporary botanical painting of oxalis (wood sorrel ​/​ lucky clover) in emerald, mint, and pale lime against a deep midnight-navy background. White contour lines and graphic leaf planes turn the plant into a living pattern - heart-shaped leaflets, tall stems, and overlapping foliage that reads as both nature study and pop-art design. High contrast and a tight square format make it a strong companion to my other paintings titled, "Magenta Oxalis" and "Cerulean Oxalis". This original acrylic plant painting sits at the intersection of botanical art, contemporary floral painting, pop-art foliage, and "living spirit" plant portraiture.
