I created this artwork from a carved rubber block and printed it with red and black acrylic ink to show an abstract fantasy Jelly Fish. Once very dry I began to use a fine paint brush and red and black ink pens to colour in certain areas of patterns to enhance the texture and character of my artwork because the print needed more depth and bold coloured areas to my satisfaction. Then the Jelly Fish artwork looked complete and fantastical.
