Gallerie Frost has an undeserved reputation! In this piece, Focus Frost, I explore the warm side of chill. Pale discs drift across a cool, patinated field, like salt or starlight settling on oxidized metal. Lower left, a shallow verdigris dish-like form sits as a small relic, mottled and slightly corroded, inviting a closer look. I kept the palette mostly bluish-teal with hints of warm cream and faint gold so the image feels calm but not flat.
