Ghost Cats is about how we never really lose the people and pets we love. I have lost so many friends, family members, and pets through the years. I sometimes am filled with a deep sadness. Though I miss them all terribly and regularly, I try to imagine that they are still present. Deep vermillion, like the red velvet carpeting in the house where I grew up, warm, silk and comforting. Acrylic Markers outline the forms of felines in yellow, red, blue and green.
