It showed visually how different animals progress in their mothers before being born. My friend produced the series and confessed it was all faked. Then when I researched photos of fetuses, even with the most advanced MRI's and other imaging techniques, I saw how hard it is to precisely make out everything going on in there. Yet, the images are no less powerful. I hope viewers enjoy the sense of life here in its ineffable mystery. Rather than copying specific prenatal images I decided to create something that evoked the feelings I had looking at all the images.
