JAR TOPS was inspired by my passion for utility and avoiding needless waste. As a practical matter, I always repurpose used jars to hold my brushes, acrylic markers, and other art supplies. The jar tops are excellent for mixing and deploying small amounts of paints, gel media and colors. This helps me to use the precise amount needed and to avoid squandering expensive materials. Over time, the jar tops get caked with dried gel and colors. I noticed that these random mini creations were actually quite beautiful. They looked like tiny planets spinning in some far off solar system. So I kept them. After a few years, I arranged them in an disused wooden cassette tape box. It's one of my favorite pieces. Paper prints are among the most popular. The format has been the standard for fine art reproduction for a long time because it works. --------------- Good paper, careful printing, and the right size for the right wall.
