I enjoy the challenge of working with patterns and textures for the first time! I hope that people who see this piece enjoy it as pure aesthetic exercise to create a palette of joy. I chose to work on six different hardboard panels which I later assembled to create tocreate a single image. I used the paper ‘lace’ to shape the composition and help guide the line of sight.
