“Curves of Color and Leaf” is a new acrylic painting on a 76.2 by 101.6 cm gallery-wrapped canvas with a depth of 1 1​/​2 inches. In this piece, I explore the energy that emerges from the interaction of vibrant colors and fluid shapes. A large white oval anchors the composition, surrounded by dynamic bands of red, blue, orange, yellow, green, pink, and purple that create a sense of motion and balance. The addition of a green, branch-like form introduces an organic touch that contrasts with the bold abstraction. Working with acrylics allowed me to layer rich hues and experiment with the flow and texture of the paint. This process of brushing and shaping colors reflects my love for abstract forms combined with natural elements. Through this artwork, I hope to convey a feeling of lively rhythm and joyful movement—a reminder that color and form can uplift the spirit and invite us to embrace creativity in all its fluid expressions.
