Any of the paintings you see with the deer and have the messages of seeing where God is in the darkest times are part of a series. This is another one of those. You will see that they all have the same kind of trees, similar flowers, or fruit. You will see a lot of the same colors and little hidden things within the paintings. This one was painted as I was coming out of my hard season. It was the last one. There is a purpose for these seasons. It is for refinement and strengthening. God allows these seasons to make you stronger. We often want out of these as fast as possible but we miss the reason and so much of the tender moments within we could be having with Jesus. I challenge us to let Him be our comfort at all times. It is easy to do so when things are good. It is easy to praise Him when things are good. What are you going to do when they are bad?
