MY MOONSCAPE lays out a cratered, lunar-like terrain in pale creams and ash gray with thin veins of rust and a whisper of blue green. It was inspired by my love of the tv series, SPACE 1999! Tħat and everything to do with the Moon. Rounded nodules sit like fossilized pods, some hollowed into shallow bowls, others raised and pocked, and a small tubular object tucked in the upper left reads like a human trace among the geological forms. There is a quiet tension between formation and decay, and the textures shift with light so the work subtly changes as you move around it.
