Orange Theory of Turning 50 or 51
In 2015 I either turned 50 or 51. This piece is a meditation on the wreckage of life and its salvaging through self-love and acceptance. It includes the number 15 for the year it was created, 2015. 15 is 51 backwards. I also include an embedded photo of myself in 1970 when I was five. How did such a seemingly sunny side up son become such a tortured soul after half a century? Or is that suffering just a kind of shame for being blessed with such bounty ane love?
