A Palimpsest is a work is worked on at different times and has layered eclectic authorship and meanings. So too, my disparate collages and doodles on differenr canvas boards become not so much a whole, let alone coherent statement as it does a record. The attempt to bring the different 'works' together is what makes this more than its parts. Kaleidoscopic tendrils of magenta, cobalt, neon green and red confront torn paper, blots od ink and geometric orchestras of red, lilac pink wafers. Does it mean anything? I don't know for sure, yet is a testament to my own fun with color, line and shape. I hope you may enjoy my Personal Palimpsest!
