This is one of dawn strolling open eyed meditation finds! It always astounds me how much more you take in when you are not looking for anything in particular. Just being open to possibilities in the world by clearing your minds, things magically appear before you! Like this elegant side table -- if that is in fact what it is. Bold red sits against a sun-softened backboard and multicolored shelf surfaces that catch the eye. I wanted this piece to read like a friendly, well-worn object, useful and a little full of character, with tight weave patterns and rounded knobs that give it a steady rhythm while chipped surfaces offer small surprises.
