I love to walk every morning just before Dawn and every evening during the Sunset. During these meditative strolls, I often find unusual discarded objects. One of my favorite creative activities is actuvely transforming them into beautiful, useful things. Like this odd metal box with clasps. I call it SILLY BOX. Silly Box: an object that collects traces of use. Pale yellow, muted lilac, and gray sit on a weathered surface while compacted flecks and confetti-like fragments fill the open cavity. Latches and slotted trays hint at past tasks, where utility meets leftover color.
