Smoky Pyramids

I have never been to Egypt but everyone I know who has been tells me how disappointing it is to see the great pyramids! They are now in the Middle of Cairo and are dwarfed by the buildings around them. Worse still, there is a constant miasma of smog and smoke around them. Since I want to keep the Pyramid mystique alive, I decided to paint them the way I imagine them, in all their smoky glory! Key words: Smoke, fire, myth, legend, sadness, disappointment, rust, ulber, burnt sienna, gold, copper bronze, ochre, layers, fascination, Egypt
