I hope viewers will experience a bit of their own visceral memory of sultry humidity and oppressive heat without feeling too uncomfortable. I chose to work with found objects, childrens craft supplies, acrylic, paint markers and oil pastel to layer a sense of sticky, stifling air and warmth.
