Sharing Thingbob today. It is an odd object I found during one of my dawn hikes through forests and byways. It’s a vertical, cylindrical shelving unit divided into three tiers and six cubbies, with broad bands of yellow curving over deep maroon and small accents of green and white peeking through. Rounded shelves and rectangular openings set a steady rhythm, while diagonal marks and scuffed edges give it a lived-in, resourceful energy. I like that it feels both playful and practical, an object that reads handcrafted rather than slick Objects.
