This artwork began as a watercolour wash in earthy colours around placed leaves on the watercolour paper. When the paint dried I lifted the leaves off and then created line work “leaf” shapes within certain areas using a white gel pen, drawing patterned leaves using dots and lines. I used leaves from my front garden tree, initially placed around the water coloured paper. The beautiful Autumn leaves had inspired me to create this artwork.

Artwork Size & Ink Base:

68cm wide and 50cm length, framed professionally from the main Framing business that I use. The base of the artwork is fine watercolour paper. Semi abstract art.
