Built on a textured surface of greens, yellows, burnt umber, and other layered hues of colors, the painting breathes like soil, layered, alive, and rooted in the colours of the natural world. Seeds are pressed directly into the canvas as found objects, no longer symbols but living matter, carrying the possibility of growth within the work itself. The title holds a hidden truth: remove the e and the h from Earth, and what remains is Art. To make art is to keep the earth; both are acts of deliberate, patient care. We are not spectators.
