Zebra Queen is a contemporary semi-abstract wildlife painting of a magical zebra. It is 30x30x1.5 inches. The painting is vibrantly colourful and highly textured, encompassing many layers, drips and glazes which add energy and a little mystery to the story behind it. It is predominately orange and glows with a myriad of incredible colours as you view it from different angles. The zebra herself is quite translucent as if she is just appearing or disappearing out of the canvas. My intention with this painting was simply to find a way to depict a zebra in a different way than the norm which emphasises how stunning and gorgeous these creatures are. Painted on deep edge canvas, dark blue-green edges, ready to hang and comes with certificate of authenticity
