I have a confession to share. I am obsessed by triangles. Ever since I learned that a ^ between two words meant one could interpolite an added word, I was hooked. you Because ^ see, my ADHD means that in my haste to express myself, I forget words -- and thankfully, a little triangle can fix that! The same is true visually in art. The carrot shape moves the eye UP and then DOWN, creating a visual rhythm that stimulates and enhances vision. Try it out by gazing in a relaxed way at ZIGZAGGING ZIGURATS! Zigzagging Zigurats brings chevron bands of ochre, crimson, and indigo into a stacked, rhythmic pattern. Warm tones push forward while cooler purples and navy step back, and small irregularities, like smudges, scratches, and dotted marks, keep the geometry from settling into predictability.
