Soul Panther is about feminine beauty and strength, but also that inner fire we carry within us. For me, there is something really powerful about the connection between women and wild animals. Especially when it comes to motherhood. That instinct to nurture and love, but also to protect fiercely when needed. I wanted to bring those two sides together in this painting. The softness and beauty of a woman, together with something raw, wild and instinctive. To me, Soul Panther represents the kind of strength that can be gentle and loving, but incredibly powerful at the same time.
